Choosing the right machine is only the starting point when investing in industrial equipment. Production performance also depends on whether the equipment matches actual needs, how quickly it can be put into operation, and how the supplier responds when problems arise. With technical consulting, machine and spare-parts inventories, and a support team established in Vietnam, Thịnh Qua is expanding its role from equipment distributor to a partner that supports manufacturers throughout the factory investment and operation process.
Established in Ho Chi Minh City in 2008, THINH QUA TRADING SERVICE ONLY MEMBER COMPANY LIMITED (Thịnh Qua) supplies equipment and solutions for machining, metal fabrication, and moldmaking. Over more than 17 years of development, the company has built a network of showrooms, machine warehouses, and technical teams in Vietnam while expanding into selected Southeast Asian markets.
Starting with the production challenge—not a machine model
Thịnh Qua supplies a wide range of equipment for automation, machining, and metalworking, including CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, CNC machining centers, laser cutting machines, laser welding machines, press brakes, grinding machines, and moldmaking equipment.

However, according to Ms. Thúy, a company representative, the consulting process does not begin by presenting an available machine model. The technical team first seeks to understand what the customer intends to produce, which materials will be used, the expected output, the available investment budget, and future expansion plans.
Only after gathering this information does the company recommend an appropriate machine type and configuration instead of simply offering an available unit.
For CNC equipment, customers can select three-, four-, or five-axis configurations from the initial investment stage, depending on part complexity, machining requirements, and budget. Maintaining multiple machine lines with different configurations gives Thịnh Qua greater flexibility to recommend an option suited to each production requirement.
This approach reflects the role the company is pursuing: not only supplying machinery, but also helping customers develop an investment plan suited to each stage of their growth.
Machine inventory shortens equipment investment lead times
One of the foundations of Thịnh Qua’s responsiveness is its approximately 5,000 m² showroom and machine warehouse, where the company maintains a range of equipment ready to serve customers.
For models already available in Vietnam, customers can take delivery as soon as the necessary procedures have been completed. For certain machines that must be ordered directly from manufacturers in China, the company reports a delivery time of approximately two weeks, depending on shipping and customs clearance conditions.
For factories expanding capacity or replacing equipment, a shorter wait can mean bringing a production line into operation sooner and limiting disruption to production plans.
The showroom also allows customers to inspect and test equipment directly before making an investment decision, rather than relying solely on catalogues or technical specifications.
Separating sales and technical responsibilities
At many equipment distributors, sales staff manage the customer relationship from beginning to end. Thịnh Qua has chosen a different organizational model.

The sales team receives requests, provides initial solution consulting, and tracks project progress. All installation, calibration, trial operation, operator training, acceptance, and troubleshooting work is assigned to a dedicated technical team.
The company currently employs more than 100 people, nearly 40 of whom work in the technical department.
Notably, both technical and sales staff are sent to partner factories in China to keep up to date with new technologies and equipment. This training gives sales staff sufficient product knowledge to assess initial requirements accurately and coordinate effectively with technical specialists during implementation.
Because the company works regularly with Chinese manufacturers, most Thịnh Qua employees can also use Chinese in technical discussions. This enables the company to communicate directly with manufacturers when complex technical issues arise, reducing information gaps and shortening resolution times.
Reducing machine downtime through parts inventory and a defined response process
For manufacturers, the value of after-sales service lies not merely in addressing a problem, but in restoring equipment to operation as quickly as possible.

Thịnh Qua therefore maintains thousands of spare parts in Vietnam, allowing technicians to prepare the required components before visiting a factory instead of waiting for an overseas order after a problem occurs.
In parallel, the company operates a daily process for receiving and handling customer feedback. Each morning, management and relevant departments consolidate customer requests and assign technicians according to priority.
Each customer has a dedicated Zalo group that includes sales, technical, and customer service staff. Discussions before a technician arrives on site allow the company to make a preliminary assessment of the equipment’s condition and prepare an appropriate response.
In addition to troubleshooting, the company conducts periodic machine inspections and cleaning under its after-sales service program.
From technical services to ASEAN market expansion
Thịnh Qua is expanding beyond Vietnam into other Southeast Asian markets. Alongside the continued development of its network in Vietnam, the company has established a presence in Thailand and is continuing its expansion into Indonesia.
The objective is not simply to develop new markets, but also to position technical teams closer to manufacturing clusters, thereby shortening installation, maintenance, and customer support times.
Alongside equipment distribution, Thịnh Qua is developing services for FDI companies, particularly investors from China and Taiwan. Its role extends beyond machine selection to supporting customers from production planning and line development through to factory implementation in Vietnam.
Expanding from FDI customers to Vietnamese manufacturers
Taiwanese companies currently account for approximately 40% of Thịnh Qua’s customer base, Chinese companies for around 30%, and Vietnamese companies for about 20%. The remainder consists of customers from South Korea, Singapore, and other markets.

In the next phase, Thịnh Qua plans to expand further among domestic manufacturers, particularly companies building their own brands and investing systematically in production capabilities. These customers generally need to consider more than the purchase of a single machine; they must also evaluate the appropriate technology, the scalability of the production line, and long-term investment efficiency. This is why Thịnh Qua aims to become involved earlier in the consulting process rather than appearing only at the sales stage.
FBC ASEAN—connecting with companies seeking answers to manufacturing investment challenges
For Thịnh Qua, FBC ASEAN is more than a place to display equipment. It is also an opportunity to engage directly with companies preparing new investments, upgrading production lines, or expanding factories. Their requirements often extend beyond a specific machine model to equipment configuration, implementation capacity, operator training, and post-handover technical support.
Through discussions at the exhibition, Thịnh Qua expects to better understand each company’s production challenges and identify needs that can be developed into technical consulting and post-event cooperation. The company also aims to expand its connections with domestic manufacturers, FDI customers, and partners capable of participating in its service network in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
Thịnh Qua’s presence at FBC ASEAN also reflects the direction in which the company is developing. As suppliers find it increasingly difficult to differentiate equipment through specifications alone, the ability to advise customers accurately, commission machines quickly, and maintain after-sales support will become decisive. Building on the foundation established in Vietnam, Thịnh Qua is gradually expanding its role from machinery distributor to a partner that supports customers as they invest, operate, and strengthen their production capabilities.
