On November 28, the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones granted an investment policy decision and investor approval for the ICT VINA III manufacturing plant project. This project, specializing in medical device production, is spearheaded by South Korea’s Dentium Co., Ltd. and will be established in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.
The ICT VINA III project, with a registered investment capital of 177 million USD (approximately 4.46 trillion VND), raises the total registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park to 875.20 million USD across 13 projects.
Mr. Vu Quang Hung, Head of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority, presented the investment certificate and congratulated the South Korean investor.
This initiative is one of the key projects attracting investment during the 2020–2025 period, as outlined in Da Nang’s Master Plan for the Development of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park by 2030. It is also Dentium’s third project in the park, bringing the company’s total registered investment to 257 million USD.
Previously, the ICT VINA manufacturing plant, with a total registered capital of 20 million USD, was approved in 2018. The ICT VINA II project followed in 2020 with a registered capital of 60 million USD.
Since the beginning of this year, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Management Board has approved four new projects in the Hi-Tech Park, the Centralized IT Park (Phase 1), and industrial zones across the city. These include two FDI projects with a combined registered investment of approximately 178.5 million USD and two domestic projects with a total investment of 810 billion VND.
To date, 521 projects have been approved in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the Centralized IT Park (Phase 1), and the city’s industrial zones. These comprise 396 domestic projects with a total investment of 33.88 trillion VND and 125 foreign projects with a combined investment of 2.22 billion USD.
