On July 16th, FPT cut ribbons on its second office in Kuala Lumpur, increasing its presence in the region and expanding its potential to reach new customers.
FPT's new office is located on the 9th floor of the Menara Hap Seng 3, a Grade A office building, in Jalan P Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur, which is considered a special economic and high-tech business zone in Malaysia. The opening of this new headquarters is expected to enhance production capabilities, responding to the increasing demand for technology, especially AI - a technology being integrated into all products and solutions of the "Made by FPT" ecosystem. This expansion aims to attract customers in the fields of energy, finance, banking, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Dinh Ngoc Linh, senior leaders of FPT Software, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Chief Executive Officer Ts. Mahadhir Aziz, Petronas Head of Custom Solutions Lisa Chan, and other distinguished guests.
"The new office in Kuala Lumpur will be a regional digital delivery hub and an important launchpad to promote FPT's global expansion efforts," said Nguyen Khai Hoan, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FPT Software. "Over the past 10 years, FPT has built a robust presence in the Asia-Pacific region. We will leverage the vibrant business environment in MSC Malaysia to drive growth and innovation for customers in the region and globally."
Currently, FPT has 1,250 employees involved in projects for the Malaysian market and plans to add 300-500 experts to this market to meet customer needs.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Dinh Ngoc Linh said that FPT's presence in Malaysia represents the spirit of cooperation and innovative drive in the bilateral relations between the two countries. "FPT's success in Malaysia is an inspiration for further collaboration between Vietnam and Malaysia, making achievements together, promoting innovation, and creating opportunities for the people of the two countries," said Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh.

In the next 5 years, FPT aims to open another Global Delivery Center in Sarawak and Kuching (East Malaysia) to serve nearby customers, including Brunei.
