Spanning 66 hectares, the center features state-of-the-art technology and adheres to international operational standards, pioneering a comprehensive supply chain model in Vietnam. Located along National Highway 1A within the Hanoi-Lang Son economic corridor, the center enjoys a prime location that connects effectively with key economic hubs, including Hanoi, Noi Bai Airport, Hai Phong Port, Huu Nghi Border Gate, and Kep International Railway Station. This strategic positioning not only shortens transportation times and reduces logistics costs but also enhances business efficiency, thereby boosting northern Vietnam's economic competitiveness.

Originally launched in 2017 as the region’s most advanced logistics hub, the project encountered significant challenges between 2018 and 2023. These included changes in administrative regulations, delays in land clearance, and disruptions to global supply chains caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, foreign investors faced difficulties in securing funding due to changes in their home countries’ policies, further delaying the project’s progress.

In 2024, the project was revitalized with the involvement of new investors, including CNCTech Group, Dolphin Sea Air Services, and Thien An Investment Joint Stock Company. These investors bring robust financial backing and extensive expertise in industrial infrastructure and logistics development. CNCTech Group, which oversees more than 600 hectares of industrial land, leads the development of a green industrial ecosystem, ensuring the project meets international standards with a focus on sustainability. Dolphin Sea Air Services Corporation, one of Vietnam’s leading logistics providers, offers comprehensive logistics solutions, aligning the project with global trends. Meanwhile, Thien An Investment, renowned for its large-scale infrastructure projects in Bac Giang, contributes to building a modern, high-quality logistics center.

A key highlight of the relaunch is the integrated warehouse system (designated PP-2), which spans 50,000 square meters and includes various warehouse types, such as bonded warehouses, CFS cargo areas, and EPE warehouses. This system is designed to meet the diverse logistics needs of businesses, laying the groundwork for the project’s full development. Additionally, the center will implement intelligent logistics solutions, including automated warehouse management and data integration across the supply chain, providing a competitive edge and enabling compliance with international standards.

The Bac Giang International Logistics Center aspires to become Vietnam’s first non-customs logistics hub located outside a port. With its strategic location and modern infrastructure, the center is poised to play a vital role in facilitating trade between Vietnam, China, and ASEAN, further integrating into the global supply chain. This initiative represents not only a strategic advancement for Bac Giang but also a significant step in Vietnam’s efforts to develop a sustainable logistics industry and achieve global integration.
