On the morning of November 14, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the investment certificate of the Creanza high-tech quartz sand processing plant project. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong chaired the meeting.

The project goal is to invest in building a factory to produce cristobalite and quartz-based artificial stone products to meet the demand for sheet stone as domestic and export building materials. With the project scale, the anticipated capacity for goods like cristobalite is 72,000 tons/year, and for quartz-based artificial stone is 1.6 million m²/year.
The proposed investment location is at Lot CN01, CN02, CN03, CN04, CN05 and CN06, Zone C, Phong Dien Industrial Park - Korea, Phong Dien town, Phong Dien district. The expected land use area is about 12.72 hectares with a total expected investment of about 2.186 trillion VND.
The term of operation of the project from the date of issuance of the investment registration certificate to June 7, 2023.
It is expected that the project, when put into operation, will have a great contribution to the provincial budget and job solving for hundreds of local workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of MIT Group Joint Stock Company, Vu Thanh Hieu, expressed gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Phong Dien District People's Committee, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and related units for supporting the project to be licensed in the shortest time. At the same time, the company commits to implement the project in compliance with the investment laws, so that the project will soon come into operation.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Phuong, greeted MIT Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and partners who selected Thua Thien Hue to carry out the project.
In order for the project to be implemented on schedule and operate effectively, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong suggested that the departments, agencies, and People's Committees of Phong Dien district actively coordinate and support in time to solve the recommendations, difficulties and problems of investors in the process of implementing the project and implementing activities in the future.
