On December 19, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong announced the official removal of the VF 8 from Xanh SM's service. VinFast also revealed important information about replacement vehicle models.
Specifically, the announcement clearly stated: "On the Xanh SM side, the company will standardize and provide 3 main electric vehicle transportation services, including: Economy - with the Mini Green model; Standard - with the 4-seat Hero Green; Premium - with the Neo Green and the 7-seat LimoGreen. Xanh SM Luxury drivers currently using the VF 8 will be temporarily reassigned to the VF 5 or VF e34 models to continue their work."
Among them, two completely new models named "Green" were mentioned for the first time by VinFast. The first is the Hero Green, which may still be the VF 5 Plus or VF e34, the most commonly seen in the current Xanh SM fleet, as it is also a 4-5 seat car, as mentioned in the announcement. Therefore, it can be assumed that the length of Hero Green will be between 3.9 and 4.3 meters, and it will serve the general customer base.
Next is the Neo Green model, which is positioned in the premium segment. This model is still quite mysterious, as its segment or design is yet to be defined. However, it is possible that it will be a 4-5 seat car or even a sedan with a luxurious interior to serve high-end customers, replacing the current VinFast VF 8. This is due to VinFast's announcement of a 7-seat LimoGreen model in the premium segment, so a smaller model or another variant is possible.

The remaining two "Green" models, Mini Green and LimoGreen, were mentioned nearly a month ago. Mini Green seems to be M-Green, which is popularly known as VF 2 - the mini model even smaller than the VF 3. This model has been "researched and developed specifically for transportation service from the beginning, so it will bring higher economic efficiency," according to Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, VinFast's Global Deputy CEO of Sales, in a recent interview.
LimoGreen is a 7-seat MPV model, serving the needs of premium service vehicles. This model is likely to be developed based on ideas from a 2019 voting of designs for consumers. Many people at that time expressed interest in the MPV model and expected its production in the future.
One of the MPV designs was highly praised by Vietnamese consumers through a voting organized by VinFast.
