According to the agreement, both parties will negotiate the sale of VF 5 electric vehicles and electric buses to the Durango Drivers Union, a member of the Mexican Workers’ Federation (CTM), for public passenger transport in Durango City, replacing the current fleet of gasoline vehicles.

Additionally, VinFast, along with V-Green and CTM, will collaborate to study, establish, install, and/or operate an electric vehicle and bus charging infrastructure in Durango City, building a convenient and extensive charging network to meet the needs of both private and public transport.

This partnership will contribute to greener transportation and foster an electric vehicle ecosystem in Durango City and throughout Mexico. Replacing the gasoline fleet with electric vehicles is expected to significantly reduce CO2 emissions, lower operational costs for the Durango Drivers’ Union, and create local jobs through the installation and operation of charging stations.
