Rorze Robotech is the first company to be certified as a high-tech company in Vietnam.
On October 11th, Japan's Rorze Corporation announced its plan to invest 330 million USD in Rorze Robotech Co., Ltd. (RRC), its subsidiary in Vietnam.
Established in 1996 in the Japan-Hai Phong Industrial Park (formerly known as Nomura-Hai Phong Industrial Park), the company specializes in the manufacturing and assembly of motor control equipment, robots, and products related to semiconductor manufacturing.
As of August 30, 2024, Rorze Robotech had 3,015 employees. The company's charter capital is 1,267 billion VND, of which 71% owned by Rorze Corporation and 29% by Rorze International Pte Ltd.
According to the 330 million USD investment plan, the construction of the new factory (first phase) is expected to start in 2026 and be completed in 2027. Other investments will be made gradually until 2032.
The company stated that this move is aimed at meeting the growing demand in the semiconductor market and changes in technological innovation.
“We have decided to make capital investments at RRC. Through this investment,
we aim to further strengthen our competitiveness and to achieve sustainable growth. Specifically, we will double production capacity to meet the rising demand for existing products and to accelerate market launch by establishing the mass production system of newly developed products," said the statement.
