On July 18, IDCS and VITASK signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the development of Vietnam's automobile and electrical - electronics industry.

On July 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Technology Advice and Solutions from Korea Centre (VITASK) and Industrial Development Center of Southern Vietnam (IDCS) - Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the development of Vietnam's automobile and electrical - electronics industry.
According to the cooperation agreement, the VITASK will seek and provide technical support to Vietnamese enterprises in the automotive industry (automotive mechanics, molds, automotive components, etc.) and electricity - electronics.
Fostering qualified human resources in the electronics and automotive industries is also important. Support for promoting people and material exchange between Vietnamese and Korean businesses in the automotive, electrical, and electronic sectors.
Additionally, the two parties work together to support business activities including seminars, meetings, and trade shows involving companies in the automotive and electrical-electronic sectors.
Mr. Le Xuan Tho, Director of IDCS (Department of Industry), said: Through close collaboration for the development of Vietnam's automotive and electricity - electronics industries, this cooperation intends to contribute to the development of both parties. Following the signing ceremony, the two parties will begin putting the agreed-upon contents into practice to support enterprises in this sector.
