According to the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, in 2025, 12 projects will start construction here, including 10 domestic projects and 2 FDI projects with a total investment of more than 1 billion USD.

Currently, some projects are undergoing stages such as appraisal of overall planning and adjustment of 1/500 detailed construction planning.

The Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board is coordinating with relevant departments to implement construction investment procedures while adjusting investment registration certificates to ensure timely commencement.

On January 6, the groundbreaking ceremony for a plasma biological products factory was held at Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park. This is the first project in the High-Tech Park to commence in 2025.

The factory is expected to be put into operation in February 2026, with a capacity of 6,000 liters of plasma per year, meeting the treatment needs of 250 million people. It will also ensure strategic national medical reserves, be willing to respond to epidemics and natural disasters, and reduce dependence on imported pharmaceuticals.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park has attracted more than 10 leading global high-tech corporations, including Intel, Jabil, Rockwell (USA), Nidec, Nipro, NTT (Japan), Samsung (Korea), Sanofi (France), and TTI (Germany).

Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park has 160 valid investment projects with a total investment of 12.3 billion USD.

To further attract investment in the High-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City is continuing to invest in building a Science and Technology Park with an area of ​​nearly 200 hectares in Long Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City, about 2 km from the existing High-Tech Park.

The Science and Technology Park is a new factor for the development of the City, attracting investment in the high-tech industry and meeting the requirements of developing a green and sustainable economy for the City.
