FPT's AI Factory in Japan offers three main product groups: FPT AI Infrastructure, a GPU cloud service with supercomputing capabilities for building and deploying large AI models; FPT AI Studio, which provides intelligent tools to build, train, and fine-tune AI models in depth with NVIDIA NeMo applications; and FPT AI Inference, combined with NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, enabling efficient scaling of these models in terms of scope and usage. Additionally, FPT AI Factory provides over 20 generative AI products.

The AI factory leverages thousands of NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, along with the latest NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite and frameworks, creating a high-performance computing infrastructure with flexible security and scalability. This enables the rapid development and deployment of breakthrough AI solutions.

Currently, FPT has launched an exclusive FPT AI Factory experience program for Japanese enterprises, allowing them to access the AI and Cloud ecosystem, receive cloud credits, and gain early access to premium solutions. Furthermore, clients will receive in-depth consultation from seasoned AI and Cloud experts to develop practical and high-value AI solutions.

Japan is facing a shortage of GPU computing solutions necessary to drive economic growth, foster innovation, and achieve digital transformation securely. With FPT’s AI infrastructure in Japan, both the government and businesses can utilize high-performance, low-latency supercomputing capabilities to enhance R&D, protect sensitive data, and maintain technological sovereignty.

On his page, Do Cao Bao, a member of FPT’s Board of Directors, shared that FPT is “putting down money” and continuing its commitment to AI and semiconductors. Following a 200 million USD investment in an AI Factory in Hanoi, FPT has now decided to invest another 200 million USD in the AI Factory in Japan to meet the rising demand for AI in the Japanese market.

In April 2024, FPT announced its AI Factory development as part of a comprehensive strategic partnership with NVIDIA. This event marks a significant milestone in FPT’s AI journey, aiming to promote AI R&D in the region and provide AI and Cloud solutions on a global scale.
