Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project is invested in the public-private partnership (PPP) method, a BOT contract divided into 2 component projects: Site clearance and construction.

Currently, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has approved the dossiers for site clearance stakes. Binh Duong Department of Transport is evaluating boundary documents for the remaining sections. Site clearance work will continue to be carried out and approved along with the construction project.

According to the plan, Binh Duong will start construction on Ring Road 4 project in Ho Chi Minh City in the third quarter of 2024 (expected in July 2024). Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project, the section passing through Binh Duong is 47.4 km long with a total investment of 18,993 billion VND.

Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway project is more than 45km long, passing through districts and cities: Thuan An, Tan Uyen, Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang in Binh Duong province, with a total investment of over 17,408 billion VND, using PPP investment method, BOT contract.

Binh Duong Province has assigned the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to perform the task of project investor. Currently, the Department of Transport is evaluating the design dossier for site clearance. The project will carry out in parallel the process of preparing and appraising construction documents to ensure the set schedule.

Currently, units are urgently completing the required documents. It is expected that Binh Duong province will deploy construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway project on September 2, 2024.
