On February 19, at Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (belonging to the Thai Binh Economic Zone), Good Way Cayman Co.Ltd Taiwan held the start of a large-scale computer factory and computer peripherals.
Delegates participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the factory.
Attending the event was Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, a Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee.
The project has a total investment of 45 million USD, using a 5-hectare land fund, and a design capacity of 3,700,000 products per year.
In phase 1, the project has a capacity of 1,850,000 products/year and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024. Afterward, there will be procurement, installation of machinery, trial operation, and official production starting in the first quarter of 2025.
Phase 2 will start construction in Q4 2026 and official production is expected to begin in Q2 2027. The operating lifespan of this project is 47 years.
According to the proposed content of the investor, the project after going into operation has a stable revenue of about 4,400 billion VND/year; and pays the state budget (corporate income tax) after the preferential period of about 307 billion VND/year. Besides, job solving for about 645 workers, with a salary of about 7 million VND/month.
Thus, this is the 3rd foreign investment project in the field of computers and peripherals for computers to be invested in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (belonging to the Thai Binh Economic Zone).
Projects that make qualitative changes in investment attraction of Thai Binh province, contributing to increasing budget revenue, solving many jobs for highly skilled workers, and gradually forming supply chains for these million-dollar projects.
