In the first four months of 2024, Bac Ninh Industrial Zones attracted $997.1 million of FDI and over VND 3,601 billion of domestic investment.
According to the Management Board of Industrial Zones of Bac Ninh Province, since the beginning of the year, Bac Ninh Province has granted new investment registration for 45 projects with a total registered investment capital of $488 million; granting capital adjustment for 44 projects with an increased adjusted capital of $409.1 million. At the same time, terminate the operation of 12 FDI projects with a total registered investment capital of $18.68 million. In April, Bac Ninh Province issued investment certificates for 12 projects and approved capital adjustments to 13 projects, with total new and adjusted capital of over $142.7 million.
Regarding attracting domestic investment capital, the Management Board of Industrial Zones issued investment certificates for 15 projects; approved capital adjustments for 29 secondary projects, and the total registration of new investment and after the adjustment reached 3601 billion VND (in April alone reached over 1,517.6 billion VND).
According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first 4 months of 2024, the whole Bac Ninh province had 436 enterprises operating again, up 28.99%; 1,092 enterprises registered to suspend operations, up 25.09%; 167 enterprises carried out voluntary dissolution procedures; 111 enterprises changed types of activities; etc.
Up to now, Bac Ninh has 23,165 enterprises with a total registered charter capital of more than 403,945 billion VND. 18,423 enterprises are operating with a total charter capital of more than 367,104 billion VND; The average registered capital of an enterprise is 19.93 billion VND.
In addition, there are 1,967 enterprises temporarily suspended with a total charter capital of more than 15,627 billion VND; and 2,775 enterprises not operating at business addresses with a total charter capital of more than 21,213 billion VND.
Regarding the revocation of the enterprise registration certificate at the request of the Tax Office, the Department of Planning and Investment of Bac Ninh Province is carrying out the process of requesting to report, handle violations, and withdraw for 603 enterprises.
