IKO Thompson Vietnam Co.,Ltd, a consolidated subsidiary of Japanese machine parts manufacturer IKO Thompson, concluded a sublease agreement (LSA) for the right to use land with Amata City Ha Long JSC. on March 11, 2024.
IKO Thompson Vietnam Co.,Ltd. is planning to build a new factory in Song Khoai Industrial Park as part of its production capacity expansion. Song Khoai Industrial Park is located in Quang Ninh Province, and is being invested and developed by Amata City Ha Long JSC.
The new plant has already obtained an Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) from Quang Ninh Province, and construction will start in January 2025, with operations scheduled to begin in 2026.
The new plant will cover an area of 37,500 m2 with an investment of approximately 8 billion yen. The production items include linear guideways and needle bearings.
