According to the cooperation agreement, ON Energy will become the official distributor of VinFast's battery energy storage systems (BESS) products under the brand VinFast Energy. These products have been researched, developed, and manufactured by VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company (now a part of VinFast) to provide customers with a breakthrough energy storage solution from lithium-ion batteries, meeting international standards such as UL and IEC for safety and high quality.

ON Energy will also provide and deploy VinFast's integrated battery energy storage solutions for rooftop solar power systems in industrial parks, offices, and residential houses nationwide. This synchronously integrated solution will optimize the energy use efficiency of the rooftop solar power system, avoid wasting excess electricity during the day, and ensure a stable power supply at night or during a power outage.

The cooperation between ON Energy and VinFast is a practical activity to contribute to realizing one of the important goals of Power Plan VIII, that is, by 2030, 50% of office buildings and 50% of residential houses will use rooftop solar power to self-produce and self-consume electricity.
