Samsung Vietnam Complex cooperates with NIC to operate Technology Talent Development Program - Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) 2023-2024

200 students will benefit from NIC and Samsung's technology talent training program

On May 3, in Hanoi, Samsung Vietnam Complex coordinated with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to officially launch Technology Talent Development Program - Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) 2023-2024 at NIC Hoa Lac campus.

In the SIC 2023-2024 program at NIC Hoa Lac, Samsung Vietnam will coordinate with NIC to deploy 2 training classes on Artificial Intelligence (AI), 2 training classes on Internet of Things (IoT), and 2 training classes on Big Data for about 200 students from several member universities of Hanoi National University and FPT University. Training content is selected through conducting stratified surveys according to development trends in industries in different regions, combined with recruitment needs at large companies.

The cooperation between Samsung and NIC aims to develop the young generation for the 4.0 Industrial Revolution

Students who finish the course and achieve the required results of the program will receive a Samsung Innovation Campus Course Completion Certificate. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to participate in other valuable project activities such as the Innovation Tech Challenge - a competition within the framework of the project to create a playground to help students apply the knowledge and skills learned in the Program into practice.

Furthermore, students participating in the SIC program at NIC Hoa Lac will receive free Korean language training support. Besides, students also have the opportunity to meet engineers working at Samsung's Research and Development Center.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Choi Joo Ho - General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex said: "With the official implementation of the Samsung Innovation Campus program at NIC, we hope that our talent training activities will have new resilience to reap more achievements in the future. In particular, I firmly believe that the Samsung Innovation Campus program with the cooperation of the Vietnamese Government, businesses and training institutions will become a typical program for fostering technology talents."
