On March 24, Doosan Vina successfully exported 9 modules weighing 1,900 tons to Golden Triangle Polymers Factory located in Texas, USA after more than 10 months of production.
These 9 modules are part of the Golden Triangle Polymers Project (GTPP) signed between Doosan Enerbility Vietnam (Doosan Vina) with the joint venture general contractor ZDJV and investor CP Chem on February 7, 2023, including 18 modules with a total weight of 4,589 tons.
The largest exported module is 16.5 meters in height, 55.4 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and 386 tons in weight.
Currently, the remaining 9 modules are 93% complete, undergoing pressure testing and installation of electric troughs and related equipment. They are expected to be delivered to customers on April 16, 2024.
Doosan Vina General Director Kim Hyo Tae shared: "We are very proud to achieve the first module supply contract for the US market and also the first project that the entire steel structure is galvanized and fireproof paint with the participation of ZDJV general contractor joint venture and CPChem investor."

Up to now, Doosan Vina has been producing 140 modules for international customers, including 39 modules for Ruwais Refinery in UAE, 35 modules for Sarawak Methanol Plant in Malaysia, 26 modules for Cariflex IR Latex Asia Phase 1 in Singapore, 18 modules for Golden Triangle Polymers plant in the US and currently producing 04 modules for North Field Expansion Project EPC-2 in Qatar and 18 modules for Ras Laffan Petrochemical project also in Qatar.
Golden Triangle is an integrated polymer manufacturing facility under construction in Orange County, Texas, USA. After completion (expected to operate in 2026), this plant will become one of the largest integrated polymer production facilities in the world with an ethylene cracker set with a processing capacity of 2.08 million tons per year and two high-density polyethylene units with a combined capacity of 2 million tons/year.
