The Sweden Green Exhibition showcases Sweden's commitment to sustainability while promoting deeper cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam for a greener future.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden (1969-2024), on October 21 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Swedish Embassy in Vietnam and the Swedish Trade Council in Vietnam jointly inaugurated the Sweden Green Exhibition and launched the publication "Sweden-Vietnam Business Footprints," reaffirming the commitment to fostering deeper cooperation between the two countries for a sustainable future.
Johan Ndisi, the Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, stated that the Sweden Green Exhibition is a meaningful event commemorating the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Vietnam.
The event not only reflects the strong and enduring partnership between the two nations but also exemplifies the shared values and aspirations that unite Sweden and Vietnam.
According to the ambassador, over the past 55 years, Sweden and Vietnam have built a relationship based on mutual respect, cooperation, and friendship. The two countries have collaborated in various fields, including trade, economy, development, education, and environmental sustainability.
Looking ahead, Sweden is committed to further enhancing cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in areas such as economy, trade, innovation, and sustainable development, to jointly address global challenges and strive for a fairer, more sustainable world.
“The Sweden Green Exhibition is not just an exhibition but a collaborative platform to strengthen the partnership and advance Vietnam’s green transition. By showcasing our solutions, we hope to inspire closer collaboration between Sweden and Vietnam,” said Ambassador Johan Ndisi.
The Sweden Green Exhibition features participation from several leading Swedish green technology companies, presenting their products and offering the latest updates on practical solutions that address Vietnam's specific needs.
This event also provides an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses and partners to seek cooperation opportunities with Swedish enterprises in developing a green economy, especially in areas like renewable energy development, emissions reduction, circular economy, and new technologies.
The Sweden Green Exhibition is part of the Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE 2024), organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
