Teaming up with local partner PT Gallerie Setia Utama, Vinfast has established its inaugural dealership in Indonesia. Besides selling the EV models VF 5 and VF e34, the dealership will also offer consulting and vehicle repair services. The company aims to expand its distribution network across major Indonesian cities by partnering with other dealerships by the end of 2024.

On March 28th, preceding this move, Vinfast announced its plans to sell the VF e34 model in Indonesia. It has implemented various initiatives to lower the purchasing barrier, including rental services for EV batteries, a 10-year warranty system, and free maintenance/replacement services if the battery capacity drops below 70%.

Vinfast is also focusing on building an EV charging network. In March, its parent company VinGroup established the corporate entity "V-GREEN" for EV charging development to support Vinfast's global expansion efforts.
