Nghe An has become a "bright spot" in attracting FDI in Vietnam thanks to its appropriate investment attraction strategy, which has drawn numerous large-scale projects.

The project, covering an area of 15.58 hectares in the VSIP Nghệ An Industrial Park, is expected to employ a maximum of 48,000 workers.

A subsidiary of Thailand's WHA Group has been approved to invest in the WHA Industrial Zone 2 - Nghe An with a total capital of 1.2 trillion VND.

In 2024, the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone attracted 20 new projects with a total registered capital of VND 19,875 billion and saw 20 projects increase their investment capital by an additional VND 21,891 billion. The combined new and additional investment capital for the year reached VND 41,766 billion.

Luxshare-ICT (Nghe An) Co., Ltd. plans to inject an additional 208.5 million USD into its project in Nghe An Province to produce new technology products.

Enterprises in Nghe An have successfully exported goods to 142 countries and territories worldwide. In the first nine months of 2024, the province's export turnover to several markets surged compared to the same period last year.
