Recently, the state-owned Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN) met with the Toyo Group of Japan. The two companies discussed opportunities for cooperation in the energy sector.
Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan - General Director of EVN worked with Mr. Koshio Katsuhiko - President of Toyo (Japan).
During the meeting, the Toyo Group proposed to cooperate with EVN to produce biomass pellets and combine them with coal fuel to produce electricity.
At the same time, the Toyo Group also hopes to cooperate with EVN in providing technical services related to power plant operation and supplying raw materials for power plants in Vietnam.
Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan, General Director of EVN, expressed high appreciation for the proposal of the Toyo Group. The two companies agreed to continue to study and research the future direction of cooperation.
