South Korean energy giant plans to invest 65 million USD in Quang Ninh

YNC Korea is planning to invest 65 million USD in a grid-connected biomass energy project using gasification technology in Quang Ninh.

South Korean energy giant plans to invest 65 million USD in Quang Ninh

YNC Korea is researching and exploring investment opportunities in Quang Ninh. The project will use local agricultural and forestry waste products to produce renewable energy and is expected to have a capacity of 40 MW.

In addition, YNC Korea aims to build a factory manufacturing greenhouse gas emission reduction equipment for vehicles, with an annual capacity of 10 million units and a total estimated investment of 80 million USD, serving Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.

YNC Korea also plans to plant bamboo in Quang Ninh to provide input materials for its factories.

YNC Korea specializes in manufacturing automation equipment in the fields of logistics, semiconductor, display, and battery industries. It is an important partner of major electronics companies such as LG and Hyundai. In Vietnam, YNC Korea is currently collaborating with GREENLINK Da Nang JSC to deploy business activities related to forestry and environmental technology.

Up to now, Quang Ninh has attracted nearly 14 billion USD from 130 FDI projects from 20 countries.
