On the morning of February 28, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province, met with Kine SIC Semi (USA), led by Mr. Johnny Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, to explore the investment environment in Bac Ninh Province.

Mr. Johnny Nguyen stated that Kine SIC Semi Company, established in 2017 in the US, specializes in manufacturing high-tech chips that can be applied in many fields. Notably, the company's chips are of good quality and offered at cheaper prices, making them suitable for the Southeast Asian market.

Emphasizing that Vietnam is a potential country with raw materials to create chips, Kine SIC Semi Company hopes that Bac Ninh Province will facilitate the exploration of investment in building a factory, with an initial area of 7,500 m2 and a total investment capital of about 200 million USD.

Welcoming Kine SIC Semi Company's visit to explore the investment environment in Bac Ninh Province, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development and investment attraction over time. The whole province currently has 16 concentrated industrial parks with an occupancy rate of over 90%, attracting more than 2,000 projects from countries and territories, including those from the US.

Notably, in October 2023, Amkor Technology Group, a global leader in semiconductor technology, packaging, and testing, inaugurated a factory for manufacturing, assembling, and testing semiconductor materials and equipment. This factory is located in Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province, with a total area of 23 hectares. This is an important milestone and a new driving force in the development of high-tech industry in Bac Ninh Province in the coming time, thereby attracting major investors from around the world.

Emphasizing the goal of becoming the capital of the semiconductor industry in the country, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that in addition to strengthening administrative procedure reform and improving the business investment environment to actively attract investment, Bac Ninh Province has also paid attention to research to issue resolutions on investment support, training, and high-quality human resources in the semiconductor industry.

The Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee committed to being willing to create the most favorable conditions for Kine SIC Semi Company to invest in Bac Ninh Province. The Management Board of the provincial industrial parks is assigned to facilitate communication, provide support, and assist the company throughout the process.
